Is this course for you?
For designers and product people who want AI to make their design decisions better, not just produce more screens.
AI can help a designer move quickly through research, synthesis, content, flows, interface ideas and prototypes. It can also produce generic personas, invented research findings, bad interaction patterns and interfaces that look convincing before anyone has checked whether they make sense.
If you already design digital products, this course updates your workflow. If you are newer to UX/UI, it shows you the design thinking that should surround the AI tool, so you learn more than a set of shortcuts.
Designed for: UX, UI and product designers, UX researchers, product managers, service designers, design leads, and developers or founders doing their own product design.
What can I do after this course?
You will leave with an AI-assisted design case study, from problem to tested prototype, that shows your process and decisions rather than a gallery of generated screens.

Research without fake certainty
Plan research, synthesise transcripts and extract themes with AI while keeping every insight traceable to what participants actually said.

Explore, then judge
Generate alternative flows, content and interface directions, then evaluate them against explicit user and business criteria instead of accepting the first output.

Design AI experiences
Handle the new UX problems AI brings: expectations, waiting states, sources, confidence, correction, memory and confirmation before high-impact actions.
What you will learn
Five live 3-hour sessions covering the product-design lifecycle: research, product thinking, interface, prototype and AI products.
Session 1: AI for design research
- Research questions, desk and competitor research
- Interview preparation, discussion guides and usability-test planning
- Working with transcripts, coding qualitative data and extracting themes
- Quotes, evidence and source traceability
- Separating participant evidence from AI interpretation
Exercise: analyse a small research dataset and compare AI-supported synthesis with a manual review.
Session 2: AI for product thinking and UX
- Problem framing, jobs to be done, assumptions and hypotheses
- Journey mapping, information architecture and user stories
- Flows, alternate routes, edge cases and error recovery
- Accessibility prompts
- Using AI as a critic rather than an answer machine
Exercise: generate several flow approaches for a product problem, then evaluate them against explicit user and business criteria.
Session 3: AI for interface design and content
- From UX requirements to UI, interface concepts and components
- Microcopy, empty states, error messages and onboarding
- Design-system consistency and generative UI
- Image generation where appropriate
- Reviewing visual hierarchy, the danger of polished nonsense, and inclusive design
Exercise: develop a complete screen set including normal, loading, empty, success and failure states, not just a happy-path mockup.
Session 4: Prototype faster
- Prompt-to-prototype workflows and Figma to interactive prototype
- Using AI coding tools for design validation
- Creating realistic data and connecting screens
- Testing alternate ideas quickly and choosing the right fidelity
- When generated code is useful to designers
Exercise: turn an interface concept into an interactive prototype that can actually be tested.
Session 5: Designing AI products
A button that triggers an AI model is not an AI experience strategy.
- Setting expectations, AI input design and suggested actions
- Streaming and waiting states, sources and citations
- Confidence and uncertainty, editing, correction and regeneration
- Memory, user control and permissions
- Confirmation before high-impact actions, failure and fallback, trust calibration
Final project: an AI-assisted case study showing your starting evidence, where AI was used and deliberately not used, synthesis, UX decisions, flow, interface states, an interactive prototype, and what changed because of testing.
How we teach
AI can generate twenty flows before lunch. It cannot decide which one is right unless the criteria, evidence and context exist. That is why this course puts as much emphasis on critique as generation: the better you explain the problem and judge trade-offs, the more useful AI becomes.
AI tools change quickly. We review the teaching stack before each cohort; it typically includes ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Figma’s AI features, prototyping and build tools, and current research assistants.

Frequently Asked Questions
Need more answers? Email [email protected]
Do I need to know Figma?
Basic Figma familiarity is helpful. If you are completely new to UI design, our UX Design Essentials may be a better starting point.
Will AI replace UX designers?
This course does not try to predict job titles. It teaches the work that is already changing: research preparation, synthesis, exploration, prototyping, content and AI interaction design.
Do we use AI image generation?
Where it is useful, yes. It is not the focus of the course.
Is this mainly about prompting?
No. Prompting is one technique inside a wider design workflow.
Will I have something for my portfolio?
Yes. The final project is structured as a design case study that shows process, decisions and outcomes rather than a gallery of generated screens.
Is this an in-person or online course?
Both. Classes run live at our training centre in Bangkok, and you can also join live online through Zoom.
Do we get a certificate at the end?
Yes, you will receive a WCB certificate of completion.
Can my design team take this privately?
Yes. We can run it for your team using your own product, research and design system. Ask us about private training.
