Overview
Web Design Essentials is a part-time group course for beginners: 6 lessons over 3 weeks, with 3-hour classes from 3pm to 6pm, in person at True Digital Park in Bangkok. You learn to plan a website and build it with clean HTML and CSS. It costs 34,560 baht with a 10,000 baht deposit, and the next group starts on 29 January 2027.
- Look at the different components that make up a website and know what to think about when planning a website so you can accurately and confidently plan for future projects.
- Use wireframes and sitemaps in Figma, fast to set up and easy to learn, to plan out web projects so you can be sure every aspect of the web design is in place.
- Learn about Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) – the global standard language for displaying content on the internet – and how to write clean HTML in a code editor so it is easier to learn and reduce the risk of errors when you build websites in the future.
- Experiment with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) – the global standard language used to apply fonts, colours, borders, and effects to a document written in HTML – so you can bring your website design to life and learn how to take it live.

What will I be able to do?
In this course, you will look at the different components that make up a website and know what to think about when planning a website so you can accurately and confidently plan for future projects. You will understand how HTML and CSS works and be able to code for projects in the future.
Is this an in-person or online course?
This course is in-person and we have both online available also. The in-person classes are run here in Bangkok and through our training partners around the world. The online courses are run through Zoom and various tools to build a truly immersive and practical experience.
Do you have times available on the weekend?
Short answer is yes, the longer answer is that we need at least 3 people to create a open a course. If you have some friends to join we can help create a custom schedule.

Do we get a certificate at the end?
Yes you will receive a certificate of completion. Certificates do not help you win projects or jobs directly but they are a trust signal to show you have invested in your skills and career.
Can I take this course if I am a beginner?
Yes, our courses are aimed at beginners. We have all been there and know how hard it can be to get started. That is why our friendly experts will guide you every step of the way from knowing what the subject is all about to applying your skills in a meaningful way in practice.
Should I bring my own laptop?
We have iMac’s with all the latest updates and software ready for you at the school. But if you prefer to bring your own laptop you are more than welcome to.
Is there anything I can read to prepare?
To begin with we recommend doing some research around the area using the following “best UX designs” and have a look at what the pros are making. This will give you an idea of what to aim for. Then we recommend going to read our blog and joining our Facebook page as we share lots of useful links on a regular basis.
