Because we as costumer have to be able to choose a service that’s convenient and reliable to use. Recently Pay Pal has made a few choices that have brought to light their true colors. Their immoral business practices are now knowledge of the general populous and they have used the internet as a platform to express their discontent.

Why is PayPal bad? It’s not, in theory. It’s is easy way to send and receive payments online and that’s a great idea. But like it often happens when companies grow very large, they start to suck. They like to make poor decisions, after looking over the net and finding ogles of user feedback here are some of the main issues that are arising:
- Holding your money under review for no reason
- Draining your checking account when you report fraud,
- Putting 20% of your money in a rolling reserve account without asking
- And much more, just have a look for yourself.

Amazon Payments
Amazon Payments is a service that allows customers to pay on several websites using their Amazon account. If you’d like to integrate it on your website there are two options: Checkout, allowing customers to complete purchases without leaving your website, and Simple Pay, integrated with HTML for one-time payments, subscriptions, marketplace and donations.

2checkout is an electronic service payment that allows businesses to accept credit card payments from their customers. The big difference from other similar services is that it does not require the customers to sign up and simply lets them use a credit or debit card.
Dwolla
Dwolla is a payment network that eliminates credit card usage by linking consumers’ accounts without charging a percentage fee for transactions. It can be used for payments between individuals, businesses or both.
Moneybookers
Moneybookers is another digital wallet service with a mix of consumer and business-focused solutions. They are regulated by the British Financial Services Administration FSA, so should be high on risk prevention and consumer protection, however while researching for this article we found it to have more negative reviews than usual so we leave you with this to learn more about it.
So as we sail back to port we find that there are a fair amount of options when it comes to online payments.
